Polyester or coated, never cotton

Dye sublimation bonds to polyester and to coated surfaces. Untreated cotton will not hold a transfer at all, which is why every fabric item here is polyester, a high polyester blend or coated.

Can I sublimate onto cotton?

No. Dye sublimation bonds to polyester and coated surfaces. Untreated cotton will not hold the transfer, which is why every fabric item in this collection is polyester, a blend built for it, or coated.

Will printed fabric crack or peel?

No. In dye sublimation the ink becomes part of the fiber rather than sitting on top of it, so there is nothing to crack or peel. That is the main advantage over vinyl and screen printing.
