Wholesale enamel mug blanks for sublimation, sold by the case. The enamel camp mug is one of the few blanks that sells on silhouette alone: a customer sees the flared body and the colored rim and reads outdoors, trail, campfire, before they have looked at the design.
That is why enamel works for outdoor retail, national park shops, campgrounds and any brand whose identity is built on being outside. The design does less work because the object is already saying something.
Every mug here is a steel body with an enamel look finish and an ORCA Coatings® sublimation surface, so it takes a full color photographic print. Real vitreous enamel is fused glass and will not hold a dye sublimation transfer, which is why custom enamel mugs at this quality only became possible once the coating existed.
What's in this collection
- 12 oz and 18 oz camper mugs with the classic flared enamel silhouette
- Fine stainless enamel cups in 12 oz, 20 oz and 22 oz with colored, silver or black rims
- 12 oz full black cup with a white print patch, and a 17 oz tapered handle free mug
- Enamel serving bowls with bamboo lids in two sizes
- 36 or 48 per case depending on model, one case minimum
Choosing between the camper and the fine stainless cups
The camper mugs are the traditional shape. Flared body, rolled rim, handle set high. If your customer says enamel camping mug, this is the object in their head. Both sizes ship 48 to a case, which keeps the entry cost low while you find out whether the category moves for you.
The fine stainless cups are the modern read. Straighter walls, thinner profile, a colored or black rim that frames the print. They sell better into coffee brands and lifestyle lines than into camp retail, and the 20 oz and 22 oz give you a larger canvas than any camper mug.
The 12 oz full black cup with a white print patch is a different proposition again. The body is finish, the patch is print, and the contrast does most of the design work for you. It is the cheapest case in the collection.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell enamel mugs wholesale?
Yes. Every enamel mug here is sold by the case to businesses, with a one case minimum. There is no dollar minimum, no account application and no reseller certificate required to place a first order. We do not sell single units and we do not break cases.
What is the minimum order for bulk enamel mugs?
One case. Depending on the model that is 36 or 48 pieces. The 12 oz and 18 oz camper mugs, the spot enamel mug and the fine stainless cups ship 48 to a case. The 22 oz and the 17 oz tapered mug ship 36.
How much does a case of enamel mug blanks cost?
Case prices currently run from about $113 to $248 depending on model and size, which works out to roughly $2.35 to $5.16 per piece. The exact case price and per piece cost are shown on every product page.
Are these real vitreous enamel mugs?
They are steel bodied mugs with an enamel look finish, coated for sublimation. True vitreous enamel is fused glass and will not accept a dye sublimation transfer. The finish here gives you the enamel camp mug silhouette and feel with a printable surface, which is the trade off that makes custom enamel mugs possible at all.
Will they chip like enamel camp mugs do?
The steel body will not shatter the way ceramic does, and it survives being dropped on a trail or packed in a crate. The rim is the exposed edge on any enamel style mug, so that is where wear shows first with heavy use.
What sizes and styles do you stock?
12 oz and 18 oz camper mugs with the classic flared silhouette, a 12 oz full black cup with a white print patch, a 12 oz spot enamel mug with a silver rim, fine stainless cups in 12 oz, 20 oz and 22 oz with colored or black rims, and a 17 oz tapered mug with no handle. There is also an enamel serving bowl in two sizes with a bamboo lid.
Which enamel mug should I stock first?
The 12 oz camper mug. It is the shape people picture when they search for an enamel camping mug, it ships 48 to a case so the entry cost is low, and it suits the widest range of designs. Add the 18 oz once you know the category moves for you.
Can the whole mug be printed?
That depends on the model. The camper mugs take a print around the white body. The full black cup with a white patch has a defined print panel and the rest of the body is finish, not print area. Check the print template size on each product page before setting up artwork.
Do the colored rim cups print the same as white ones?
Yes. The rim color is part of the body finish and sits outside the print area, so your artwork and settings are unchanged. The rim is what makes the finished piece read as a designed product rather than a printed blank.
Are these dishwasher safe?
ORCA Coatings is SGS certified to 3,500 dishwasher cycles. The coating is also UV resistant and FDA certified food safe, which matters for anything that holds a drink.
Are enamel mugs microwave safe?
No. The body is steel. Enamel style mugs must not go in a microwave, and that is worth stating on your own product listings because customers assume any mug is microwave safe.
Who buys custom enamel mugs in bulk?
Outdoor and national park retail, campgrounds and glamping sites, coffee roasters, breweries with an outdoor identity, wedding and event decorators working a rustic theme, and print on demand sellers whose listings lean camp and trail. Almost all of it is repeat seasonal buying rather than one off orders.
When do enamel mugs sell?
Spring through summer for camping, trail and outdoor retail, then again in Q4 as gifts. If you supply campgrounds or park retail, their buying happens well before their season opens, so plan stock earlier than you would for a ceramic mug.
Can you print them for me?
Yes. Our Fremont, CA facility offers print on demand and bulk decorating. Send artwork and quantities and we press and ship, either to you or direct to your customer.
