            Wholesale sublimation wearable blanks, sold by the case. In dye sublimation the ink turns to gas and bonds into the fiber itself, so the print does not sit on the fabric, it becomes the fabric. Nothing to crack, nothing to peel, and no stiff patch where the design is.

            The polyester rule

            This is the one constraint that catches people. Sublimation needs polyester or a coated surface. A 100% cotton shirt will come out of the press blank. A 50/50 blend will hold roughly half the color and look faded, which some people want and most do not. Check the fabric before you promise a customer anything.

            Frequently asked questions

            Can I sublimate onto cotton?

            No. Dye sublimation bonds to polyester. A 100% cotton garment comes out of the press with nothing on it. A 50/50 blend holds about half the color and looks deliberately faded, which is a style choice rather than a full color print.

            Will the print crack, peel or fade?

            No. The ink becomes part of the fiber rather than sitting on the surface, so there is nothing to crack or peel and no stiff patch where the design is. This is the main advantage over vinyl and screen printing.

            Can I print white?

            No. Sublimation has no white ink, so anything meant to be white is simply the fabric showing through. That is why sublimation wearables are made in white or light polyester.

            How many come in a case?

            Case counts vary by item and size and are listed on each product page along with the per piece price.

            Can I print all the way to the seam?

            On most items yes. Oversize the transfer so the print runs past the edge rather than stopping short of it, and use a protective sheet to stop bleed onto the back layer.

            Who buys wearable blanks in bulk?
