Photo Frames

Photo USA's photo frame collection is wooden tile frames in cherry and pecan, sized 4 x 4, 6 x 6 and 6 x 8 in to hold a printed sublimation tile, and photographers, memorial gift sellers and Etsy shops use them to turn a tile into a finished framed gift. Frames cost about $2.58 to $3.46 each at 100 per case, which makes Photo USA one of the best places to buy tile frames wholesale.

What's in this collection

• 4 x 4 in cherry and pecan frames, $258 per 100, about $2.58 each.
• 6 x 6 in pecan and cherry frames, $280 per 100, about $2.80 each.
• 6 x 8 in cherry and pecan frames, $346 per 100, about $3.46 each.

Which tile frame to start with

Shops that already sell tiles: the 6 x 6 in pecan. It moves a low cost tile up a price tier with no new equipment or skills. Memorial and remembrance sellers: the 6 x 8 in cherry, a size that suits a portrait. Craft fair vendors: the 4 x 4 in, a small gift at an impulse price. Photographers: offer framed tiles as an add on to a session. The frame is the finish and the tile carries the print, so match sizes and check both are in stock before quoting.

How much can you make

For larger photo gifts like a framed tile, the closest market reference is that personalized photo slates list for about $16 to $38 on Etsy. As an example, a 6 x 6 frame at $2.80 plus a 6 x 6 tile at $1.72 is $4.52 in blanks, and sold at $24 it leaves $19.48 before ink, packaging and labor.

Holiday timing

Framed photo tiles are Christmas, Mother's Day and memorial gifts. For Christmas, order by early November for the best lead time, and before December at the latest, so framed pieces are pressed, assembled and delivered in time.
