Sublimation Towel Blanks

Printed towels are a repeat account business rather than a one off gift business. A salon launders its branded hand towels every week, a swim club replaces team towels every season, and a hotel buys on a linen cycle. Once you win one of those accounts the reorder is yours as long as the print still looks right after fifty washes, which is what the coating decides.

These are white, sublimation ready blanks in three sizes: a 30 x 60 cm hand towel, a 50 x 100 cm bath towel and a 75 x 150 cm beach towel. White is the ground every print works against and the color hospitality buyers specify. Featuring ORCA Coatings® sublimation technology from Photo USA Corp., the coated surface takes full color photographs, logos and monograms.

Which size for which account

• 30 x 60 cm, 85 per case. Hand towel. Salons, barbershops, guest bathrooms, golf bags, realtor closing gifts. Fits a standard 15 x 15 in. platen in one press.
• 50 x 100 cm, 28 per case. Everyday bath towel. Gyms, pools, swim clubs, teams, hotels. Ships at a normal parcel rate, which is why most online sellers start here.
• 75 x 150 cm, 14 per case. Beach towel. The only size where a full edge to edge photograph works instead of a logo in a corner. Needs a wide format press or calender.

Before you order

• Sublimation bonds to polymer, not to cotton fiber. An uncoated towel loses the image within a few washes.
• Keep artwork off the hemmed ends. Pile thickness changes there and the print goes patchy.
• No bleach and no fabric softener. Softener coats the fibers and dulls the print.
• One case minimum, cases are not split. Pallet and container pricing available.
