FAQ
x
What size is this notebook?
The large size, packed 50 to a case at roughly 42 pounds.
What do I print?
The cover panel. The pages and the binding are not printable, so all the design work happens on one flat face.
How do I press a notebook?
Flat press at medium pressure on the cover, with the pages protected from the heat. Do not press with the book closed under full pressure, since the binding can distort.
What temperature and time should I press this at?
As a recommended starting point, most of our blanks press between 370°F and 400°F, with time depending on how thick and dense the blank is. These are recommended settings only, not fixed rules. Temperature and time work against each other: a hotter press needs less time and a cooler one needs more. Every heat press runs a little differently, so press one test piece and adjust for your machine. Our sublimation time and temperature chart lists settings for 20 blank types.
Why did the cover warp?
Moisture in the paper block. Pre press briefly to drive it out, and let the notebook cool flat under a light weight rather than standing it up.
Who is this size for?
The large notebook reads as a journal rather than a notepad, which supports a higher price. At 42 pounds a case it is also the heaviest of the three.
What sells on a notebook?
Names, quotes and year dates. It is a gift and a corporate item rather than a stationery purchase, so the personalization is the product.
Who buys notebooks?
Corporate swag and promotional product companies, school, team and nonprofit fundraisers, and Etsy sellers and small batch gift makers. Bulk Christmas gifts for employees
When do orders peak?
August and September for back to school, January for corporate onboarding and new year planners, teacher appreciation in May, and Q4 gifting. Grandparents Day photo gift blanks
What does a case contain and weigh?
50 pieces at roughly 42 pounds. What to compare when choosing a blanks supplier
