xPhoto studios, awards dealers and gift retailers use this 8 inch coated ceramic plate as a display piece rather than a dinner plate: the double gold rim frames a printed image the way a mat frames a photograph, and the finished plate sits on a stand or hangs on a wall. Featuring ORCA Coatings® sublimation technology from Photo USA Corp., the dye-sublimation coated surface takes full-color decoration of photos, logos, and designs.
The plate is a flat-faced round blank with a raised rim, so the printable area is the full center field. Gold trim is applied around the outer edge, which gives a finished look straight out of the press and removes the need for any post-press framing. A full case is 36 plates at $3.86 each.

Returns
14-day return window from the date of delivery, on unused items in their original packaging. Contact us before sending anything back to get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, we cover return shipping and there is no restocking fee. For returns due to a change of mind or an ordering error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, original shipping charges are non-refundable, and a 20% restocking fee applies.

No. The rim is metallic gold trim, and metal in a microwave arcs. Hand wash or dishwasher only.
Is it meant to be eaten off, or displayed?
Both are possible, but most buyers treat it as a display piece. The printed center field is the selling point, and a plate that goes through daily use face down in a dishwasher stack will show wear on the gold before the image fades.
What size image should I set up?
Set your template to the flat center field, not the full 8 in. outline. The raised rim will not take a transfer evenly, so artwork that runs to the edge will come out soft on the border.
How do I hold it flat in the press?
Use a plate jig or a nomex pad with a cutout. The plate has a foot ring on the back, so pressing it directly on a flat platen leaves it rocking and gives uneven pressure across the face.
