FAQ
x
What is this bottle?
A 600 ml aluminium sports bottle in yellow, packed 48 to a case at roughly 11 pounds. It is one of the lightest cases we carry.
How does aluminium press differently from steel?
Aluminium conducts heat faster, so it reaches transfer temperature sooner and scorches sooner. Start shorter than a steel setting and build up in small steps.
What temperature and time should I press this at?
We recommend pressing at 365 to 390°F (185 to 200°C) for 120 to 180 seconds with light pressure and the lid removed, or at 390°F for about 420 seconds in a sublimation oven with a wrap. These are recommended settings only, not fixed rules. Temperature and time work against each other: a hotter press needs less time and a cooler one needs more. Every heat press runs a little differently, so press one test piece and adjust for your machine. Our sublimation time and temperature chart lists settings for 20 blank types.
Why choose aluminium?
Weight and price. An aluminium bottle is noticeably lighter to carry and costs less per unit, which is why event giveaways and race merchandise use it where steel would blow the budget.
How do I press a stainless steel body?
A wrap or a dedicated attachment, not a flat or mug press. Remove the lid, straw and any seal before heat, since they warp and a warped seal will leak afterwards.
Why is there a pale line down the side?
The wrap overlapped or left a gap along the seam. Butt the transfer edges rather than overlapping, and put the join where the design is least busy.
How does the body color affect the print?
Yellow warms every printed color and kills anything pale, so use bold dark artwork. It is a school and club color more often than a retail choice.
Who buys aluminium sports bottles?
Sports teams and fitness brand merchandise, corporate gifting and event swag programs, and fundraisers and school spirit stores. Water bottle blanks for gyms and sports teams
When do orders peak?
Spring race season from March, summer events and camps, and August and September for back to school. Mugs and glassware for World Cup 2026
Can I mix colors in a case?
No. Order a case per color and we will quote volume pricing across the whole order.
What does a case contain and weigh?
48 pieces at roughly 11 pounds. What to compare when choosing a blanks supplier
